Breakfast Club Information

Breakfast club is open to children in Years 1-6 and will be available to Reception children after Christmas once they have settled into the school routine.

 

A small charge of £3 per session will be made to cover the cost of providing a healthy breakfast, staffing costs and purchasing additional educational resources (children eligible to receive income based Free School Meals will not be charged).

 

The cost will be deducted via Parentpay. If you are not registered to use Parentpay and would like to use the club, you will need to contact the office and we will generate an account for you.

 

The Club will be supervised by school staff and children can expect the following itinerary (subject to change) each morning:

 

  • 8-8.20 am A healthy breakfast will be served to include cereal, toast, fruit, yoghurt and juice.
  • 8.20-8.45 am Opportunity to complete home learning, reading practise, spellings and phonics work.There will also be access to educational games, newspapers and iPads.
  • 8.45 am The children will be taken to the playground to line up in the usual way for the start of the school day.

 

There is no need to pre-book places but we would ask that children arrive promptly for breakfast as food will not be served after 8.20am.

 

Please access the school in the normal way through the entrance in Dorrell’s Road which will be open from 8 am. Access will not be available via the school office.
