Fundraising and Charity work

At Longwick School we like to support worthy charities, often including the fun of wearing mufti clothes.  Here are some of the charities we have raised funds for:

Spring Term 2019

World Book Day - come dressed as your favourite book character - £127.25

Comic Relief Red Nose Day - wear something red / sale of merchandise - £334.55

Autumn Term 2018

Red Cross - Year 6 held a second-hand book sale - £136.00

Anti-bullying Awareness - wear something blue - £159

Children in Need - Christmas Jumper day - £163.00

Spring Term 2018

World Book Day - dress up as a character from your favourite book

Autumn Term 2017

Anti-bullying Awareness - wear blue to raise awareness of anti-bullying - £184.60

Children in Need - wear a Christmas Jumper - £158.50

Comic Relief 2015

Well Done everybody for your fantastic 'funny' outfits today, together with purchasing red noses we raised over £200 for comic relief.  And in addition Eloise in year 2 has added a further £141 to our total having raised the money over Christmas carol singing - an amazing achievement.

World Book Day 2015

Thank you for all your donations on 'World Book Day' .  The children and staff wore some great character outfits from their favourite book and we have raised £250.50 to add extra resources to our school libraries.
