We are thrilled that you have joined us in Year 5 / 6 This year is going to be an unforgettable year filled with fun, learning, and new experiences.
Throughout the year, we will be delving into a variety of engaging topics that will spark your curiosity and deepen your understanding of the world around you.
Highlights include:
- Leading the School Parliament
- Enterprise Day to challenge your creativity and business skills
- Production to showcase your talents on stage
- Residential Visit (details tbc) which will provide a great opportunity for team-building and outdoor activities.
- ‘Buddy’ system, where you are paired with a Reception child, to support and guide them as they settle into our school.

We are here to support you every step of the way, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. We have an open door policy and in the first instance, please speak to the class teacher at drop-off / dismissal times. If you require a longer chat, please contact the school office so that a convenient time can be made to meet with you.
Things to Remember:
- You should read EVERY DAY - please sign your Reading Record and bring to school to be checked
- New Home Learning TBC
- Spelling will be TBC
- PE is on Friday and TBC
Home Learning - set termly for non core subjects; set weekly for reading, spelling, maths

- Spellings set on Friday and should be returned the following Friday
