Pupil Premium – Statement of Intent

At Longwick , we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to achieve, thrive and flourish, regardless of their background or individual circumstances. Rooted in our Christian vision, “From small beginnings, great things grow,” and our motto, “Grow. Flourish. Fly”, we believe that every child should be supported to fulfil their potential.

We recognise that disadvantaged pupils may experience additional barriers to learning, achievement and participation in school life. Pupil Premium funding enables us to identify and address these barriers through high-quality inclusive teaching, targeted academic support and wider opportunities that promote wellbeing, confidence and personal development.

Our strategy places particular emphasis on securing strong foundations in reading, writing and mathematics, while ensuring that disadvantaged pupils benefit from a broad, ambitious and enriching curriculum. We are committed to raising attainment, accelerating progress and reducing inequalities so that disadvantage does not determine a child's educational outcomes or future opportunities.
