Learning Beyond the Classroom - Farm & Forest School

Outdoor Learning

Children thrive outdoors through hands‑on experiences that build confidence, teamwork and curiosity. We ensure that we provide many opportunities for our children to learn beyond their classroom environment. The children regularly visit Forest School on our beautiful school grounds and Holly Green Dairy Farm, a short walk away through stunning countryside. They take their daily learning outdoors in our extensive grounds, our outdoor classroom and play areas. Read below for more.

Community and Enrichment

We believe strongly that we prepare our children for the world beyond school. We want to empower them with the knowledge that they can do and be whatever they want to be in a world that we do not even know exists yet. Our enrichment opportunities are built in to our school week across the year for each class.

Longwick School Parliament

Our Longwick School Parliament is in its infancy at the moment. Please bear with us as this develops.

Friends of Longwick

We have an incredibly supportive group of parents, Friends of Longwick who work tirelessly to support our children and the environment. See more about Friends on the Parents and Guardians link.
