Welcome to Longwick Church of England Combined School

Welcome to Longwick Church of England Combined School, where our passion for inspiring a love of learning lies at the heart of everything we do.

Nestled in the charming village of Longwick, just two miles from Princes Risborough and five miles from Thame, our school is truly a hidden gem. As a Church of England school within the Diocese of Oxford, our Christian values guide and shape us, though we warmly welcome children and staff from all faiths and backgrounds. We are proud to be part of the Oxford Diocese Buckinghamshire School Trust, which includes 13 fantastic schools.

At Longwick School, we believe everyone plays a key role in our success. Our friendly and warm community, comprising dedicated staff, supportive governors, and engaged families, is built on the core values of respect, responsibility, perseverance, and kindness. These values underpin everything we do, helping us to create a nurturing environment where each child feels safe, valued, and supported. We work tirelessly to improve every child's life chances and ensure that each ‘Longwick Learner’ thrives.

We place each child at the heart of everything we do, fostering an environment where they are encouraged to enjoy learning, explore their curiosity, and reach their full potential. In our inclusive Christian community, every child is valued, and we celebrate their individual achievements. We also know that children learn best when they are excited and engaged, so our school motto is: ‘Inspiring a love of learning…’

We strive for the highest standards in both academic learning and life skills, helping our children grow into confident, resilient individuals who understand the importance of caring for others and acting with integrity.

If you're a current or prospective parent, we’d love for you to visit us! Please get in touch with the school to arrange a tour, we’d be delighted to show you around. Thank you for visiting our website; we hope it gives you a good sense of who we are, our values, and what we offer.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school. We’re happy to provide a paper copy of any information on the website, just let the school office know.

We look forward to welcoming you to Longwick School!
