BEFORE-SCHOOL CARE - BREAKFAST CLUB
Breakfast Club will recommence on Monday 7th September 2020
At Longwick we run a before-school breakfast club for our pupils at a cost of £3.00 per day, which is supervised by members of our staff. Children can be dropped off from 8am on an ad-hoc basis and will be provided with a choice of breakfast; such as toast, crumpets, cereal, fruit and yogurts. To receive breakfast, children will need to have arrived by 8:20am. When they have finished eating, children can play board games, ball games and occasionally on our iPads until it is time for them to go onto the playground prior to morning registration. Attendance will be charged through your Parentmail account.
AFTER-SCHOOL CARE - BUBBLEWRAP CLUB
ABOUT THE CLUB
Bubblewrap After School Club is registered with Ofsted (Registration No EY93707), and is based in Longwick School . The club is currently open during term time from 3.30pm until 6.00pm Monday to Friday. We are based in the Scout Hut at Longwick Combined School and have access to the outdoor areas within the school including the field.
At Bubble Wrap ASC we aim to provide a safe and secure and relaxed environment, offering a range of activities to reflect the interests of the children in our care.
WHAT WE OFFER
Children are free to choose activities and resources as they wish. There will always be a selection of activities and resources available, including dressing up, craft, board games, construction, computer games, physical play, cookery, and reading. In addition other resources are available for the children to select from our equipment library. What we provide The food we provide at the Club is not intended as a substitute for a main evening meal. We provide healthy snacks, including fresh fruit and vegetables. We promote independence, by encouraging the children to prepare their own snacks, and to clear away after themselves. We use fresh ingredients and follow statutory guidelines. Fresh drinking water is available at all times. We meet individual dietary requirements and parental preferences wherever possible. We recognise the importance of healthy nutrition for children delivered in a calm, friendly setting. We allow children to decide when they are ready to eat their snack, but request that food be consumed whilst sitting at the snack table. Our light bite (hot food) will be served to all at approximately 5.00pm.
